About HowMuchVet

HowMuchVet is a simple idea: pet owners report what they actually paid at the vet, and everyone can see the real prices.

Vet bills are famously hard to predict. Two clinics in the same city can charge wildly different amounts for the same procedure, and most pet owners only discover this after they've already paid. We think sunlight is the best disinfectant.

How it works:

• You report three things: your clinic, the procedure, and what you paid. It takes about 30 seconds and there's no account to create.
• We combine reports into medians and ranges per clinic and per city, so you can see what's typical and what's an outlier.
• Clinic listings come from public map data. Prices come only from pet owners like you.

HowMuchVet doesn't sell anything, doesn't book appointments, and doesn't give veterinary advice. It's a price transparency tool, nothing more.
